We plan to spend 6 weeks (40 days) on the road. So how far can we travel, and how long can we stay at each spot? This is just a rough estimate, and we’ll probably need to put in a few resting days here and there… Which makes it a fairly tight schedule!

• Seattle: 1 day
• Seattle -> San Francisco: 2 days (3)
• San Francisco: 2 days (5)
• San Francisco -> Los Angeles: 1 day (6)
• Los Angeles: 3 days (9)
• Los Angeles -> Las Vegas: 1 day (10)
• Las Vegas + Las Vegas -> Flagstaff: 1 day (11)
• Flagstaff -> Grand Junction: 2 days (13)
• Grand Junction -> Chicago: 1 day (14)
• Chicago: 2 days (16)
• Chicago -> Boston: 1 day (17)
• Boston area: 1 day (18)
• Boston -> Philadelphia -> Gettysburg -> Baltimore: 2 days (20)
• Baltimore -> Washington DC + Washington DC: 2 days (22)
• Washington DC -> Savannah: 4 days (26)
• Savannah -> Nashville: 2 days (28)
• Nashville -> Memphis + Memphis: 2 day (30)
• Memphis -> New Orleans: 1 day (31)
• New Orleans: 1 day (32)
• New Orleans -> Miami: 2 days (34)
• Miami -> Key West -> Miami: 3 days (37)
